Designed for aspiring childbirth educators, perinatal nurses, and birth professionals, this interactive evidence-based seminar helps you gain the skills and confidence to teach prenatal and birth classes that empower childbearing families.
Seminar Format & Schedule:
• Delivery Method: Live via Zoom (or once a year in-person)
• Time Zone: Central Time (CT)
• Duration: 3 eight-hour days
• Daily Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (may end slightly earlier to allow time for skill practice and “homework”)
• Cost: $400
This Lamaze Childbirth Educator Seminar includes:
• Live, interactive sessions via Zoom (or in-person once per year)
• Fun and engaging activities, including “internet scavenger hunts” for videos and resources (links provided)
• Opportunities to bond with fellow participants over shared birth experiences
• Evidence-based instruction aligned with Lamaze principles
• Ability to begin teaching prenatal and childbirth classes at completion of the Seminar
• Free mentoring to teach or prepare to study for certification

Lamaze Certification is achieved by passing the Lamaze International Certification Exam. Attending this seminar is one of the steps in the eligibility process to become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE).

Materials & Preparation:
• Handouts will be shared via Google Drive
• Instructions will be provided for which handouts to print before the seminar
• A pre-seminar email will include a list of items to gather (for virtual classes)
