Lamaze Care Team
The Lamaze Care Team is a small, informal group of LCCEs who believe no educator should ever feel alone. It’s a circle of encouragement and connection for those who might be the only Lamaze educator in their area or who just need a little support from someone who understands.
This isn’t a formal mentorship program. It’s about being kind, showing up, and listening with heart. Care Team members offer encouragement, share ideas, and help others feel part of the Lamaze family. Sometimes all it takes is a quick check-in by email, phone, or Zoom to remind someone they’re not alone.
When an LCCE reaches out to Lamaze feeling isolated, unsure, or just wanting to connect, we’ll connect them with a Care Team member. The goal is simply to remind every LCCE that they’re seen, valued, and part of something bigger.
What this might look like:
• A new educator nervous before their first class chats with someone who’s been there.
• An LCCE in a rural area swaps ideas with another educator across the miles.
• A longtime educator feeling stretched thin connects with someone who truly gets it.
If you’re someone who cheers others on, listens with care, and believes small moments of connection can make a big difference, this is for you. We are better together.
