LCCE Recertification

To maintain your Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) credential, you must submit a recertification application every three years, along with 25 contact hours. Recertification ensures you stay up to date with current practices and continue to meet the highest standards in childbirth education.

How to Recertify

Step 1: Earn 25 Continuing Education Credits

Only standard or alternate activities completed within the last three years count towards recertification. All activities must relate to at least one of the Lamaze Competencies.

Both Standard Credits and Alternate Credits count toward your 25 hours.
