As Lamaze International celebrates our 66th year of advancing safe and healthy birth through education and advocacy, we’re looking ahead with bold ambition. We’re inviting dynamic leaders to join us on our journey forward by applying to serve on our Board of Directors.

This is an exciting moment to get involved. As we honor our legacy, we're building a Future Forward Lamaze, one that reflects the evolving needs of families, birth professionals, and global communities.

We are currently recruiting for two Board positions. To broaden our skill base, we especially welcome individuals with skills in consumer advocacy, fundraising, philanthropy, and business and those who can help Lamaze secure new revenue and partnerships in the next twelve months to consider applying.

Board members help guide the direction and priorities of Lamaze International and ensure the organization’s health and sustainability. Responsibilities include:

• Participate in strategic planning and six yearly virtual Board meetings.
• Provide insight and professional expertise to support the organization’s mission.
• Ensure fiduciary responsibility and organizational integrity.
• Serve as liaisons to committees or special projects.
• Act as an ambassador for Lamaze within the wider community.
• The length of the term is four years.
