Our mission is to provide a comprehensive program designed to suit various learner needs and to train those interested in teaching childbirth education to expecting parents, and to increase the number of Lamaze Certified Educators in Canada.

The Institute of Childbirth Educators has two program options for participants: Self Study, which includes the workshop and sign-off on practice teaching and a checklist for completing certification  or Group Program, which includes bi-weekly webinars, assignments, feedback on assignments, assistance with co-teach facilitation, an online exam preparation community, and more.
