Teach Lamaze Classes

You want to choose a childbirth education program that will provide ongoing support, resources and access to continuing education to stay up-to-date. If you are passionate about helping families through this amazing journey, then Lamaze is here to help you through your journey as a childbirth educator – from the time you become certified and throughout this rewarding and transformational career.

Why Become Certified to Teach Classes?

Help Families from Pregnancy to Parenting

Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators (LCCE educators) help families cope with fears and empower them with evidence-based information about labor and birth.

See for yourself why some of our educators became Lamaze certified:

  • “A passion to see women prepared to have a powerful, life-changing, positive birth experience”
  • “Empower women, especially disadvantaged women and families”
  • “To share evidence-based data that birth is normal without unnecessary medical intrusion unless specifically indicated”
  • “Help couples learn how to work together through the challenge of childbirth leading to working together through other challenges”

Be a Trusted Partner

By becoming a certified childbirth educator, you are showing your commitment to families that you are knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest evidence. When they take a class led by a certified educator, they know to trust you and the information you are sharing to help them through their pregnancy and birth experience.

Gain Credibility

Based on our research, 90% of healthcare providers say certified childbirth educators are beneficial to the care provider/patient relationship, and 94% say they are more likely to recommend a certified childbirth educator.

Becoming a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator will not only help you remain informed, it will help you establish and maintain an excellent reputation in your community. Lamaze is the most well-known and respected childbirth educator certification with 96% of healthcare providers aware of Lamazehigher than any other childbirth education program.

Why Become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator?

There are other options, so why Lamaze? Having a Lamaze certification means being connected to an international network of childbirth experts and fellow educators.
