Teach You Childbirth’s Mission:

To provide evidence-based education using Lamaze principles to:

• Participants seeking Lamaze Childbirth Education Certification
• Perinatal nurses seeking to enhance their practice and gaining continuing education credit
• Childbearing families seeking trusted guidance through the childbearing year.

Lamaze Certification is achieved by passing the Lamaze International Certification Exam. Attending this seminar is one of the steps in the eligibility process to become a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE).

Teach You! Childbirth complies with all Lamaze policies. The program director retains decision-making authority for Teach You! Childbirth policies. See Teach You Childbirth’s website for more information on policies and procedures.

• Handouts will be shared via Google Drive
• Instructions will be provided for which handouts to print before the seminar
• A pre-seminar email will include a list of items to gather (for virtual classes)

The Teach You Childbirth Lamaze Childbirth Program is directed by Renece Waller-Wise, DNP, RNC-OB, APRN-CNS (Alabama), CLC, COI, LCCE, FACCE, and is based in Spring, Texas. Renece is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Nursing and Troy University School of Nursing. She is a licensed women's health clinical nurse specialist, as well as an author and consultant for issues related to childbirth education, perinatal and women's health.

Renece has been teaching childbirth education classes for over thirty-five years and has been a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator since 2002 and a Lamaze instructor trainer since 2016.
