Lamaze Resources for Prematurity Awareness Month
By: Lamaze International Staff | 0 Comments
Lamaze International recognizes Prematurity Awareness Month and World Prematurity Day, observed annually in November and on Nov. 17, respectively. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the awareness month. Prematurity Awareness Month spotlights the global state of maternal and infant health, and March of Dimes acknowledges that the U.S. is among the most dangerous developed nations to give birth. This recognition month strives to end preventable preterm birth and help families have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
Lamaze is committed to promoting evidence-based prenatal education and advocating for improved maternal care to empower families and reduce prematurity rates worldwide.
