Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month is recognized each May, with a special week dedicated this year from Sunday, May 5 through Saturday, May 11, 2024. It is imperative for the work of childbirth educators and perinatal professionals to provide mental health support to parents on their paths to pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. Check out Lamaze blogs, podcasts, articles from the Journal of Perinatal Education, and educational resources that can help your practice as you prioritize parents’ well-being all year around.
