Free Labor Prep Class from Lamaze!

'Tis the beginning of the season to be thankful and giving, and we are thankful to be able to give to you a free online class to get you started off on the right foot for your labor and birth! The Lamaze online class, "Labor Confidence from Lamaze" teaches you six proven ways to improve your experience of and outcomes in birth. The online, eLearning class is self-paced and interactive, including audio, video and quizzes throughout to reinforce your learning.

After taking the class, you'll learn how to:

• Find resources to help prepare you for birth and labor
• Understand our six practices to help support a healthy birth
• Identify coping techniques you can use during early and active labor

What I liked most about this class is how it addresses and debunks some of the most common myths about labor and birth, and provides information on some of the most important but lesser known labor and birth options for new parents. Also helpful are the tangible coping techniques you learn for dealing with early and active labor. This class is more than just information about what happens in labor -- it's the hands-on "what can I do?" information that gives parents real support for the big day.
