It's not easy to know the best course of action to take when caring for your child's health. All this time spent preparing for pregnancy and birth, then baby is born and a whole new world of questions and confusion opens up! From common childhood illnesses and ailments to routine and unexpected testing and treatments, it can feel overwhelming, especially when there are so many viewpoints to consider (and trust me, you will get both solid advice and questionable opinions from all angles!).
Knowing the challenges parents face, Consumer Reports created several resource materials, as part of their Choosing Wisely program, to provide parents with information to better understand which tests and treatments might be right for their child.
