1.  Giving Birth with Confidence Blog

2. Week by Week Pregnancy Newsletter

No matter where someone is in their pregnancy, it is never too late to sign up for Lamaze International’s Week by Week Pregnancy Newsletter and immediately start receiving relevant and easy to read emails specific to each person’s gestation.  Filled with fun and useful content, the emails help folks both understand what they can expect each week as well as prepare for what’s to come.  Consider signing up yourself so you can speak definitely about the value that parents receive from this free content.

3. Lamaze YouTube Channel

Short but relevant videos on Lamaze International’s Six Healthy Birth Practices, lactation, and more are available for viewing from this YouTube channel.  It even includes 8 videos available with subtitles for people who speak Mandarin.  A great tool for educators using the flipped classroom approach and a valuable resource for families.

4. Find a Local Class

Families can search for local childbirth classes taught by Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators in their community.  Should you be contacted by someone who is not local to you, this is a handy way to help them find what they are looking for close to them.  This is also a good opportunity to remind you to make sure your profile is up to date and includes a link to your website and current contact info so that people can find you when they are looking to prepare for a baby!  You ca specify that you are teaching both virtual and in person classes too!

5. Online Resources

Lamaze International maintains a curated list of useful links to perinatal organizations that the families in your classes will find useful.  You can easily include this link in the resources that you share with families in your community.

6. Parent Podcasts

The Lamaze Podcast spotlights educators, families and perinatal experts from around the world to talk about healthy birth practices, advocacy, pregnancy, birth and current issues.  For parents who like to learn through podcasts, this resource lets them listen and learn while on the go.
