Lamaze Resources for National Midwifery Week

SuperUser Account

Lamaze International proudly recognizes National Midwifery Week, Oct. 6–12, 2024. This annual recognition week was created by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) to celebrate and recognize midwives and midwife-led care. Lamaze supports and celebrates the midwives who make up our international community. As you acknowledge #MidwiferyWeek2024, reflect on its theme of “Midwives Looking to the Future” and consider how you can use the Lamaze Six Healthy Birth Practices in tandem with the midwifery mission of providing care to improve birth outcomes and patient experiences.

Check out Lamaze blogs, podcasts, articles from The Journal of Perinatal Education and educational resources from the Lamaze Learning Center to reference when acknowledging your work as a midwife, recognizing your midwife colleagues or recommending midwifery care to clients, this week and beyond.
